JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for selling to new and existing customers on a daily basis via telephone, email, online chat, etc. Post-sale follow up, contacting customers before, during and after demo and trial programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Golf experience preferred
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required
  3. Previous sales experience a strong plus

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Proven inside sales experience
  2. Track record of over-achieving quota
  3. Strong phone presence and experience dialing several dozen phone calls per day
  4. Proficient with CRM database (Hubspot or similar CRM)
  5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  6. Technology savvy
  7. Strong listening skills
  8. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  9. Golf industry experience
  10. BA/BS degree or equivalent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Research consumer accounts, identify key indicators and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned online leads
  • Enters, tracks, and updates online sales leads from “Opportunity” to “Close”
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Close sales and achieve monthly quotas

JOB SUMMARY
The Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company has a great legacy of industry-leading sales representatives. The new Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company is continuing that legacy by hiring the very best sales representatives to serve our partners. The Independent Sales Representative will establish and grow relationships with both green-grass and off-course partners by maintaining regular contact, providing company and product updates, facilitating the sell-through of equipment through the golf shop, and assisting with all equipment related needs of our partners' golfers. This is an outside sales position and will require extensive travel in the territory, reliable transportation and contacts within the region being served. There will be future opportunities for independent representatives to become company employees. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with an affinity for the game, for Ben Hogan, and with an interest in a long-term role with the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company.

THE BEN HOGAN BRAND MUST BE THE PRIMARY BRAND/PRODUCT IN THE REPRESENTATIVE'S PORTFOLIO, WITH NO COMPETITIVE BRANDS REPRESENTED

PGA Sections/Territories Open: Indiana, North Florida, Northeastern NY, Southern California, Tri-State, Western NY

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. College degree
  2. Former golf professional, PGA membership or program experience preferred
  3. Outside sales experience in the golf industry preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open new accounts
  • Regular contact and service of existing accounts
  • Assist golf professional with product sell-through using company-proven techniques, programs, materials and independent creative thinking
  • Conduct high number of demo days
  • Extensive travel within the assigned territory (some overnight may be required)
  • Conduct training of partners and partners’ staff
  • Schedule appointments with partners and provide scheduled club-fittings for their golfers when requested
  • Loyal representation of the Ben Hogan brand
